I consider myself so blessed to get to work with so many wonderful people. Documenting people's wedding days and life moments is a huge honor that I do not take lightly. I know choosing a photographer that fits your vibe and needs can be a bit overwhelming. To help ease any nerves you may have and to get to know me as a photographer a little better, I am asked a few of my former clients to share a little bit about their experience with me!
How was your experience with Shelby Renee Photo?
"I don't know where to begin about Shelby. Not only does she do a phenomenal job of photographing the perfect moments that you want, she also finds those moments you didn't realize you needed. She pours her heart into the couples she works with and I'm so happy we met Shelby. We immediately loved that her wedding package included engagement photos - it was important to us that we have the same photographer so they could get to know us prior to our wedding day. Chris and I are far from ideal models, but Shelby made us feel so confident and comfortable in front of the camera. She will help guide you without your pictures looking posed and she sure knows how to HYPE YOU UP. Her personality is infectious and we could not have imagined a better photographer for our special day. Not only did we find our forever photographer, we also gained such a beautiful friend! Shelby made the process so simple during a stressful year - we're a COVID couple. We knew we could always text or call Shelby to let us vent, but also remind us what was most important for that day. Not only were we a COVID couple, but a hurricane decided to shower us (literally) with blessings on our Wedding day. I was a mess because our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors, but Shelby made sure that we still got as much of a variety of photos as she possibly could. There are no words that could adequately describe how much we appreciate and love Shelby. Seriously, if you're thinking about hiring Shelby for your wedding day, DO IT. 6 out of 5 stars! Even with snags (especially with Covid) Shelby was so easy to work with. Her bubbly and positive energy made us feel happy and confident with every step, session and picture! By the end, I felt like I had a new best friend. To anyone looking to book. DO. IT. NOW. Shelby is a hidden gem. She should be the top of *ALL* the websites. What would you say to someone who is thinking about booking Shelby Renee Photo?
Do it! Her creative eye paired with a dedication to getting what you want made photos for the wedding day pure perfection. Our shots were better than I could have ever imaged. I liked her direction but while also keeping the shoot laid back. It was fun! The only problem you will have is deciding which ones to hang on your walls at home because you will love so many! Shelby is a such a blessing. First she is a true ray of light which make working with her feel like you have known her for years. I would say our experience was extremely positive. So much that we have found our photographer for life and plan to rehire her for life moments to come. - Kathryn C.
"I would tell them to definitely book her while they can. Shelby is such a joy to work with. She works with you, gets to know who you are, and implements that in any of the shoots she does with you. Shelby will make everything a breeze and you will have no regrets booking her services!! We could be ourselves with her and Shelby was so calm for us during our day.
